NaNoWriMo Introduced #StayHomeWriMo

Hey, Lovelies!

The founders of the non-profit organization National Novel Writing Month (NaNoWriMo) made a huge announcement earlier this evening regarding a new program that they’ve put in place.

It’s called #StayHomeWriMo.

The folks at NaNoWriMo have decided to give us writers some extra support during the coronavirus outbreak. The new initiative is expected to help us find creativity and well-being while stuck at home. It’s flexible and can be adapted to whatever fits our individual needs.

What is it exactly?

Well, it’s going to be a daily checklist of prompts that help our mental, physical, social, and creative well-being. These prompts are currently scheduled to last for the remaining days of March. At this time, it doesn’t look like the prompts will be continued into April, when the first NaNoWriMo Camp of the year begins.

You can follow the action of #StayHomeWriMo on the organization’s social media pages or its website. I can also share them here if you’d like, just let me know in the comments below.

Without further adieu, here is day one:

Stay safe and healthy, everyone!

Until next time!

Cheers,

Danielle
